This system uses the same blown fiberglass you have known and trusted for years. The unique BIBS® application process uses CertainTeed InsulSafe®SP or Optima®, Johns Manville Climate Pro® or SpiderTM, or Knauf Perimeter PlusTM blown into place behind a mesh fabric.

Tests show that a mere 4% void area from a poorly installed batt causes a 50% increase in heat loss. The Blow-In- Blanket® System eliminates voids and does not settle. The patented Blow-In-Blanket® System can only be installed by contractors certified by Blow In Blanket.

The Blow-In Blanket® System is a proprietary, high performance insulation system which incorporates fiberglass blown into walls, floors, attics, and cathedral ceilings. In new construction, the fiber is blown behind proprietary mesh fabric, forming a seamless blanket of insulation. The Blow-In-Blanket® System by KB Insulators completely fills around pipes, wires and other objects inside the cavity, eliminating costly voids and air gaps.
